Tough match today in ALTA with my partner Jay. We went down 2-6, 1-6. I won’t lie, I played some weak tennis out there. Still getting the hang of things in my first year playing, so I’m trying to be patient with myself and give credit where it’s due.
Net play wasn’t great, but I definitely need to work on my volleys. But I was happy with how consistent my serves were. Only 3 double faults across all my service games, which feels like a small win to build on.
Shoutout to the home team for hosting a cookout afterward. Good vibes and great food always help soften the loss. Back to the grind 🎾🔥
